Evelien Joos grew up in Belgium. After living in Paris and Sydney, she moved to New York in 2008 starting her career in publishing at The Last Magazine. In 2009 she joined V Magazine where she developed her skills as a casting director and art buyer. In 2013, Evelien's unconventional eye for fresh new talents was noticed by Carine Roitfeld who appointed her as casting and photo director at CR Magazine. Evelien has built an impressive clientele that ranges from Kany West's Yeezy collection to Max Mara, Maison Kitsuné, Wrangler and Adeam to name a few. Evelien finds true joy in matching photographers to story ideas and stylists, to then collaborate with the teams in finding perfect talent to make their vision reality.
