Katharina Mouratidi is the artistic director of f³ – freiraum für fotografie. The venue presents outstanding author's photography and visual art that deals with the current question of our times in the center of Berlin - Kreuzberg.
The exhibition program features internationally renowned photographic positions as well as the work of young, up-and-coming photographers.
In her position Katharina Mouratidi is planning, curating and realizing photographic exhibitions and projects in her own space, as well as in collaboration with renowned art and cultural institutions both nationally and internationally.
Exhibitions include:
“A Life In Death“ by american photographer Nancy Borowick,
“The Heavens” by Paolo Woods and Gabriele Galimberti,
“WhereLove is Illegal” by Robin Hammond, “Womenphotographer Vol. I”
Featuring the Oeuvre of female photographers from 1920 – 1980,
“Greenpeace Photo Award”,
“HIDDEN – Animals in the Anthropocene”
and “RUTH ORKIN –A Photo Spirit”,
among many others.
In addition to exhibitions, f³ – freiraum für fotografie organises on a regular basis talks
with photographers, debates , workshops and masterclasses , that invite a broad audience to discuss current issues related to the medium of photography.
Katharina Mouratidi was a member of numerous national and international juries, among them:
Swiss Photo Award, Lumix Photo Award,
Robert Capa Photography
Grand Prize Hungary, Kunstpreis Fotografie Lotto Brandenburg.
